Synopsis

Master storyteller Jennifer Fox uses her own life to explore what it means to be a free woman today. Over a period of four years, she travels to over seventeen countries to understand how diverse women define their lives, and using a camera technique called "passing the camera," she creates a documentary language that mirrors the unique way women communicate. In intimate conversations around kitchen tables from South Africa to Russia, India and Pakistan, she initiates a groundbreaking dialogue about universal concerns that transcend race, class and nationality.
