Frankie Ballard leaves generous tip for pizza order

Country singer Frankie Ballard recently stunned restaurant staff in his Michigan hometown after leaving a bumper tip on a $22 (£17) bill.
The Young & Crazy star stopped by Mancino’s Pizza and Grinders in Battle Creek last week (ends28Jul17) to pick up an order, but instead of just leaving the usual 20 per cent, he decided to share his wealth, giving wait staff a $100 (£76) tip.
One stunned server, Kourtney Kipp, took to social media to express her gratitude to Ballard as she shared a picture of his receipt online, with his personal details blocked out.
In the accompanying caption, she wrote, “Soooo tonight this guy casually walked in to pick up his $22 dollar order as I gawked from a distance asking myself if I’m really looking at who I think I’m looking at….. then this guy paid for his food and left this very generous tip. This guy is Frankie Ballard.
“Thank you so so much, the littlest things can turn somebody’s day around. The crew truly appreciated your appearance tonight, even if some of us were a little too star struck to say so”.
Ballard isn’t the only musician to leave generous tips at restaurants – New Kids on the Block singer/actor Donnie Wahlberg has hit headlines twice in the past two months after giving financial boosts to waiters at the popular Waffle House chain in Maryland and North Carolina.
