The screening of ‘Wonder’ should come with a box of tissues.
The film follows a young boy named Auggie (Tremblay). He’s had a rare medical facial deformity and has had 27 surgeries to keep him alive but has unfortunately left him with severe scarring. He’s been homeschooled but his parents (Roberts and Owens) have decided it’s time for him to go to school. He attends a private school and has to learn to deal with bullies and find out some people can be kind no matter what you look like.
Everyone can feel for Auggie but how can an average person relate? Easily, everyone at some point in their life has felt like the odd person out and had to do something they don’t want to do.
