Gigi and Bella Hadid nab British Vogue covers

Gigi Hadid and her sister Bella Hadid are British Vogue’s latest cover stars.
The American models are the among the hottest names in the fashion industry at the moment and have now been tapped to front the March 2018 edition of the U.K. publication.
Photographed by Steven Meisel, Gigi and her younger sibling are both depicted gazing at the camera while wearing one-shoulder gunmetal grey gowns from Versace, with British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful explaining that the inspiration behind the shoot was spring trends.
“Sisters reunited. As the most in-demand sisters in the fashion industry, it’s more common to see @bellahadid and @gigihadid apart,” he captioned a shot of the models posing together uploaded onto his Instagram page on Tuesday (30Jan18). “However, the sisters reunited for the March 2018 issue of @britishvogue cover story.”
The shoot was styled by Joe McKenna, while Guido Palau was in charge of hair, Jin Soon Choi did manicures and make-up maven Pat McGrath gave the girls dewy skin and a swipe of metallic eyeshadow across their lids.
Gigi, 22, took to Instagram to share her cover image, captioning the shot, “Very honored to be your March cover girl @britishvogue @edward_enninful with my sissy @bellahadid on a second cover,” while 21-year-old Bella wrote: “All my love to you sweet, sweet @edward_enninful and all at @britishvogue for having my beautiful sissy @gigihadid and I share the March cover showing how similar we really are.”
In addition, the girls’ mother Yolanda Hadid also shared the images on her social media pages, writing that she was “so proud”.
The latest issue of British Vogue goes on sale on Friday (02Feb18).
