‘Doctor Strange’ is the newest comic series to come into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it’s unlike any of the previous films.
An arrogant neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange (Cumberbatch) gets in a terrible car accident and loses the use of his hands. When he finds a paraplegic who regained the ability to walk, he sends him to Nepal to seek out help. He encounters Mordo (Ejiofor) who introduces him to the Ancient One (Swinton) and a world of mystic arts.
In the above behind the scenes interview, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige tells us why Strange is a departure compared to the rest of the MCU, Rachel McAdams talks about why Cumberbatch is the best person to play the Dr., Tilda Swinton explains who her character is (or isn’t), Chiwetel Ejiofor discusses who his character is, Mads Mikkelsen brings up the themes, and Benedict Cumberbatch talks about why the MCU needs Doctor Strange.
Doctor Strange releases next Friday, November 4, 2016.
