To play a wizard is literally a dream role, especially for Eddie Redmayne.
Eddie used to love dressing up and pretending to be a wizard, so casting him as Newt Scamander in the Harry Potter spinoff ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ couldn’t have been a more perfect choice. That’s probably a good thing since Redmayne is locked in to do at least four more movies as the character.
In the above interview go behind the scenes and magic of Fantastic Beasts where Alison Sudol talks about being transported to 1920’s New York, Colin Farrell says what it’s like to act like he’s using real magic, Dan Fogler praises how the directors and crew made it seem like creatures were actually there, Katherine Waterston talks about bringing imaginary animals life, and Eddie Redmayne discusses how the film made him feel like a kid again.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them releases tomorrow, November 18, 2016.
