Go Behind The Voices Of ‘The Lego Batman Movie’

In 2014, Warner Bros hit the nail on the head with their quirky, fun animated movie in The Lego Movie. Now they are combining the beloved toy with arguably the most popular comic book hero, Batman in ‘The Lego Batman Movie’.

Batman has been around since 1937 and he’s been redone in the comics, tv shows, and movies more times than any other superhero. There’s the old school Adam West Batman, the Tim Burton bat nipples batman, and even the comic book artist Frank Miller‘s dark interpretation. With all these different styles of Batman, there’s plenty to make fun of, which is what the Lego Batman Movie is trying to show.

In the above interview, go behind the recording process and hear from Michael Cera about how this is the first film to ask (and make fun of) Batman’s quirks, Jenny Slate talks about redefining these classic characters, Zach Galifianakis discusses how to do a voice for a cartoon, Rosario Dawson tells us why this was the perfect combination for her, and Will Arnett tells us what he wants audiences to take from the film.

The Lego Batman Movie releases this Friday, February 10, 2017.
