‘Good Boys’ is raunchy.
The first trailer was a red band NSFW trailer that Executive Producer Seth Rogen jokes and says the kids in the movie aren’t even old enough to watch. With talk of sex toys, cursing, drugs, and other lewd talks its easy to throw this movie to the side as just a dirty movie as critics did with Sausage Party.
There’s one thing majorly wrong with that; this is real. Kids of today have to grow up quicker than ever before. When I was in 6th grade I didn’t know about the things the kids talk about in this movie, but the kids of today do. In the end, they are still kids, who are scared about kissing a girl for the first time ever. It’s maybe time to stop pretending that “boys will be boys” and change parents minds on how to deal with kids of today.
In the above video go on the set of ‘Good Boys’ where Executive Producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg talk about how the idea of this movie seemed really great, and the boys Jacob Tremblay, Keith L. Williams, and Brady Noon tell us about their characters, how they bonded, what they thought of the movie when they saw it, and what they want viewers to take from it.
‘Good Boys’ is in theaters on August 16, 2019.
