The much-anticipated new action movie that was to bring comic book heroes Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman together on the big screen has been shelved due to the ongoing Hollywood writers strike, according to Internet reports.
But movie news Web site IESB.net reports the film is “officially on hold,” adding there are no plans to start shooting “until, at the very least, after the writers strike has been resolved.”
Sources tell the site filming won’t start until June at the earliest.
An unnamed crew member claims a “big meeting” took place on the set in Australia earlier this week, and set employees have been given one week’s notice to look for other work.
