‘Hunger Games’ Exclusive: Cast Talks Fans, Love & Each Other

Here’s why the Twilight comparisons aren’t apt when talking The Hunger Games: unlike the supernatural romance franchise, the first movie in HG‘s the epic sci-fi franchise sports a mix of names and up-and-comers. Much of the supporting cast, including Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson and Donald Sutherland, is composed of veteran screen actors, while the leads are all at the beginnings of their careers—but not without credits to their names. Jennifer Lawrence is an Oscar-nominee; Josh Hutcherson is the star of the highly successful Journey franchise; Liam Hemsworth is ready for this summer’s Expendables 2. Young or old, Hunger Games even has a leg up on the Potter movies, delivering known talent across the board.

We sat down for exclusive interviews with Hemsworth, Hutcherson, Banks, Harrelson, Lenny Kravitz and director Gary Ross to discuss The Hunger Games, their approach to tackling the much-loved source materia and most importantly, what they think of one another. Interview tributes, welcome to the Hollywood.com arena:
