I Know What You Did Last Summer author dead at 82

Celebrated young adult author Lois Duncan has died, aged 82.
The suspense writer of literary hits I Know What You Did Last Summer and Hotel For Dogs passed away on Wednesday (15Jun16) at her home in Florida, aged 82.
She wrote 50 books including the aforementioned titles, which were both adapted for the big screen.
Duncan, who taught journalism at the University of New Mexico, also wrote Who Killed My Daughter?, which chronicled her search for answers in the case of her 18-year-old daughter Kaitlyn’s 1989 murder.
The student was shot as she drove home from a friend’s house.
