Synopsis

Bound for battle at Troy, Agamemnon finds that his ships are foundering on windless waters. A fortune teller informs the Greek military leader that he's encountering unfavorable weather because his killing of a deer has drawn the ire of a powerful goddess. In this retelling of the tragedy penned by Euripides, Agamemnon must mislead his wife and make a sacrifice of his daughter, Iphigenia, to press on with his military mission.
