Jeff Goldblum: “It’s protocols galore on Jurassic World set”

Jeff Goldblum is ready to return to filming the forthcoming Jurassic World: Dominion – and, according to the star, producers are sparing no expense when it comes to safety.

Production on the sequel resumed earlier this month (July 2020) and the cast is now preparing to reunite in the U.K. where “there are protocols galore” on set.

Goldblum told Entertainment Tonight: “We’re going to be very safe, I think. And we’re going to shoot Jurassic World. They gave us 109 pages. They invested all their heart and soul, and a lot of money, into making sure that we’re safe.

“I won’t bore you with the details, but we’re all going to be quarantined in a kind of a bubble, all the crew, and all the cast. And testing and everything,” the star explained. “We know it’s a risky time, but we feel it’s good. Sam Neill‘s there and Laura Dern and Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard; Colin Trevorrow‘s directing, and there are gonna be some dinosaurs.”

Variety previously reported that Universal would be implementing new safety procedures to keep the set at Pinewood Studios free from Covid-19, with a $5 million testing operation in place.
