Jonah Hill Signs Up for Quentin Tarantino ‘Django Unchained’

Jonah HillEven though we’ve already seen the Django Unchained trailer, the movie is very much still in production — and apparently still casting roles, since Jonah Hill has joined the Quentin Tarantino neo-Western (after initially dropping out of the film).

It isn’t yet clear who Hill will be playing, but Deadline is reporting that it won’t be Scotty Harmony, “a kid who loses Django’s (Jamie Foxx) slave wife (Kerry Washington)” to Leonardo DiCaprio‘s evil plantation owner, Calvin Candie. Hill, a Tarantino virgin, joins an already star-studded cast that includes, among many others, Tarantino returnees Christoph Waltz and Samuel L. Jackson.

It will, however, mark something of a reunion between Hill and DiCaprio, who will soon start filming Martin Scorsese‘s The Wolf of Wall Street. Django is due in theaters on Christmas Day.
