Get ready for a summer of dinosaurs.
The next chapter in the Jurassic Park franchise just got a release date. Jurassic Park 4 in 3D hits theaters on Friday, June 13, 2014, Universal Pictures confirms to Hollywood.com. Steven Spielberg returns to produce the long-awaited next installment of his groundbreaking film series. The epic action-adventure will be shot in 3D.
It’s been a while since we visited Jurassic Park. The Joe Johnston-directed Jurassic Park 3 came out in July 2001. However, the studio is re-releasing the original film in a remastered 3D version in April.
Now we know why Spielberg put on a hold on Robopocalypse: will he step up and direct the fourquel? Either way, Jurassic Park 4 is on its way.
