Kaaterskill Falls | 2002
Eager to escape the tensions of the city, Mitchell and Ren pack up their car and hit the road for a romantic weekend in the Catskills. Along the way, they giggle over potential names for the child they hope to conceive while they are away. En route, they pick up a hitchhiker named Lyle who winds up spending the night at the cabin when he is unable to find a place to stay. Their plans for a peaceful weekend are soon a distant memory, as the intrusive presence of the hitchhiker sparks an intellectual clash which slowly escalates to violence and a harrowing examination of moral judgment.
