There will always be naysayers when it comes to On the Road, the approaching film adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s classic novel. With the novel itself being a pretty controversial topic, Kerouac’s devotees might think the film will fall short, while Kerouac’s adversaries might call it an unworthy attempt to begin with.
But these new shots from the upcoming film do inspire some kind of optimism. There’s a stylistic sensibility to them that seems in step with On the Road. And while star Kristen Stewart is herself a polarizing figure, the Twilight vet doesn’t seem quite out of place here. Check out the below images and see what you think.
