With all of that silly talk of a Bridemaids sequel finally behind her (we hope), comedienne Kristen Wiig hasn’t wasted any time lining up a plumb new gig. THR reports that the in-demand SNL favorite is in talks to star alongside Ben Stiller in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, the long-developing remake of the 1947 Danny Kaye classic. Stiller is slated to play the title role of a magazine photo manager prone to vivid daydreams; Wiig will reportedly play his co-worker and secret crush.
The film, which Stiller is also directing, is aiming for an April start date, and will shoot in both New York and Iceland.
