Lenny and Zoe Kravitz have landed their first campaign together – for high-end luggage label Tumi.
Shot in the Bahamas, the rocker and his actress daughter pose with wheelie suitcases, cross body bags, and rucksacks from the new Alpha 3 collection.
It marks the first time the father-and-daughter duo have appeared together on a project, and Big Little Lies star Zoe really enjoyed the experience.
“I loved working with Tumi and the idea of telling a story about travel, family and connecting with one’s roots,” she said in a statement. “It was amazing to travel to the other side of the island for my first time to see where my family originated from and to pay respect to our elders and those who came before us – to experience that with my father was monumental.”
As well as still images, Tumi has released numerous videos as part of the new campaign, which have been shared on the brand’s social media platforms.
One, titled ‘Perfecting the Journey’, sees Zoe and Lenny, discovering new parts of the Bahamas, where Lenny’s maternal grandfather hails from.
“A case doesn’t hold the future, but it can carry it. Zoe Kravitz and Lenny Kravitz journey back to where it all began, paying respect to the generations who paved the way for them to become who they are today,” the caption reads.
Lenny provided a voice over for the clip, where he says: “My grandfather started it all, which made way for me to become who I am, then Zoe, to become who she is. “We’re gonna go see where this all started.”
