‘Lockout’: Guy Pearce Pulls a ‘Pulp Fiction’ on Maggie Grace’s Eye — VIDEO

LockoutThe sci-fi thriller Lockout (no, it’s not a documentary about the recent labor disputes in the NFL and NBA) doesn’t hit theaters until April 20, but you can sneak a peek at the first five percent of the movie to see if you’ll really want to check it out next Friday. Spoiler alert: You will. And that’s the only real spoiler alert necessary here, as nothing much in the way of storyline is revealed in the five-minute clip.

Guy Pearce headlines Lockout as Snow, a wrongfully convicted government agent who is offered his freedom in exchange for rescuing the president’s daughter (Maggie Grace) from an outer-space prison overtaken by violent inmates.

That’s more or less what is on display in the aforementioned video: A butt-kicking, gravity-less Pearce trying to reach a damsel-in-distress-y Grace. When they finally meet, she is low on oxygen, forcing Pearce to consider jamming a needle through her eye and into her brain that would revive her, Pulp Fiction style. Sorta. Check it out, below!
