NBC is giving a second life to the shelved series, Love Bites. Originally scheduled for Fall 2010, the series will now find a home in NBC’s summer line up starting June 2 at 10 p.m. Becki Newton of Ugly Betty fame stars in the series alongside My Boys’ Jordana Spiro. The series follows two women, one obsessed with sex and the other a middle-aged virgin who narrate other couples’ strange sex stories. It’s a little erratic, and a bit erotic for network TV, but it’s from a former Sex and the City writer so maybe it might be slightly entertaining. There is one small snag, because while this summer push may actually work and get people interested in this nine-episode series, Newton is already signed for a CBS pilot which makes even the rosiest of futures seem unclear.
