“Manhunt” contestant files FCC complaint

Jacqueline Kelly, a contestant on UPN’s Manhunt has filed a complaint with the FCC alleging that the producers may have violated FCC rules barring the rigging of quiz and game shows. As reported by the online site TheStingray.net, Kelly has asked the FCC to determine whether the producers unlawfully rigged her expulsion from the show by changing the rules after the Manhunt contest already had begun. The producers deny that the outcome of the contest was changed but now acknowledge in a disclaimer displayed at the end of each episode that it contains some “dramatic scenes intended for entertainment purposes only.”
