One of the best things about the Star Wars Story films is the answering of questions fans have wanted answers to, or even some they didn’t. No character has a more mysterious background then Han Solo, and now (hopefully) we will have some of the many questions answered about him.
Assumptions and possible spoilers ahead:
Han (Alden Ehrenreich) is a wide-eyed bushy guy who knows one thing, he’s a damn good pilot. He’s always been one for the money doing whatever it takes to get it and get out before the situation gets too hot. Chewie is his friend for life, and this film will hopefully dive into how they are so close (I hope they explain how he can understand him). We see more of Qi’Ra (Emilia Clarke), someone who I’m sure has a huge role in the film and the development of Han’s character. Solo gets his famed blaster in the trailer (something that felt so nonchalant for one of the most famous weapons in pop culture) from Tobia Beckett (Woody Harrelson), they (possibly) show the game of Sabacc where he actually won the Millenium Falcon from Lando (Donald Glover), and in the end we might be shown the famed Kessel Run and how the ship got threw in less than 12 parsecs.
Sure, I’m kind of assuming a lot from this trailer, but there’s only one way to find out if I’m right, and I have a good feeling about it.
‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ releases May 25, 2018.
