Nicole Kidman to Produce, Star in ‘The Family Fang’ Adaptation

Nicole Kidman‘s production company, Blossom Films, has acquired the rights to the adaptation of The Family Fang, which Kidman will produce and star in.

The bestselling novel by Kevin Wilson centers on a dysfunctional family whose parents are performance artists resented by their grown-up children for their kooky ways.

Kidman’s most notable recent film role in was 2010’s Rabbit Hole, for which she received a Best Actress Oscar nomination. She has several projects completed and awaiting release, including the Lee Daniels thriller The Paperboy and the HBO quasi-biopic Hemingway & Gellhorn.
