No Escape banned in Thailand

New action movie NO ESCAPE has been banned by authorities in Thailand – even though it was filmed there.
The thriller, starring Owen Wilson, Pierce Brosnan, and Lake Bell, follows an American family caught up in a military coup in an unidentified country in Southeast Asia.
Most scenes were filmed in Thailand after officials granted permission for crews to shoot there on condition the country was not identified on screen, but a new report reveals local authorities have banned the finished product from being broadcast within its borders.
A source tells New York Post gossip column Page Six of the lengths producers went to to disguise the location of the shoot, saying, “Precautions were taken, like signs that appeared in shots being turned upside down.”
