Just when we thought we’ve already seen everything there is to see in Game Of Thrones before season seven drops, we’ve got some brand new footage thanks to EW!
HBO’s upcoming DVD and Blu-ray release of the show’s sixth season has brought us a very curious deleted scene.
In the clip, Olenna and Mace Tyrell are riding along the streets of Kings landing while they devise a plan to shake things up for Cersei. This scene reveals Mace’s return to Westeros, and the fact that they’ve joined Cersei’s council (though really, are they to be trusted?). They’re plotting to free Margaery and Loras from imprisonment after joining the council.
We haven’t got much to hold onto until Game Of Thrones starts airing their seventh season, which was pushed back again and again by the network. Currently, the season will air on HBO in the summer of 2017 (an entire world away, basically), and someone’s already leaked the plot (which has us so excited).
Game Of Thrones’ season six DVD comes out on November 15th — just in time for a Thanksgiving binge watch.
