Papa Roach axe gig due to illness

Rockers Papa Roach called off their gig in Berlin, Germany just hours before show time on Thursday (27Jun13) as one of the bandmembers struggled with “vocal issues”. The group was due to take to the stage at the Huxleys Neue Welt venue, but they axed the gig after a member, thought to be frontman Jacoby Shaddix, failed to overcome a throat condition.
A post on the band’s Facebook.com page reads, “Due to vocal issues tonight’s show in Berlin is canceled (sic). An announcement with information on when the show will be rescheduled will be made ASAP. We’re very sorry we can’t go on tonight but we’ll be back to Berlin as soon as we can!!”
Shaddix has previously struggled with vocal problems – the band axed gigs last summer (12) so he could undergo throat surgery.
