Pink adopts a rescue puppy after surprise tour visit

Pink has added to her family by adopting a rescue dog called Nashville.
The What About Us singer is currently on her Beautiful Trauma World Tour, and performed in Nashville, Tennessee, on Sunday night (10Mar19). As she made the most of the tour stop, Pink was paid a visit by the Nashville Humane Association, and ended up heading back on the road with a new addition.
Sharing a picture of her seven-year-old daughter Willow cuddling the pooch, Pink wrote alongside the Instagram snap: “Thank you to the Nashville Humane Association for bringing puppies to the show for us to play with. Of course we went home with one. Meet our new rescue, his name is Nash. Short for Nashville #causewhynotaddmorelove #suckerforapoundpup #notenoughstressalready #chaos #whatthehelljusthappened #sweetboy.”
The singer is a huge animal fan, and her decision to adopt Nash comes after her beloved dog Frangelica “Nanni” Moore Hart died last September (18), aged 16.
Alongside a picture of herself with the canine, Pink, who jetted back from tour when Nanni fell ill, wrote: “Rest in sunshine pretty girl. Thanks for waiting for me to get home.”
Pink’s Nashville tour stop was also a notable one as the 39-year-old also paid a visit to Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge bar on Lower Broadway in the city after performing at the Bridgestone Arena.
A video of her surprise trip to the bar showed her taking to the stage to perform a cover of Janis Joplin’s classic tune Me and Bobby McGee, much to the delight of the excited audience.
Tootsie’s has something of a reputation as a celebrity hotspot. Post Malone also dropped by last year for a quick performance, while the venue has also been used in videos by singers Jake Owen and Brad Paisley.
