‘Red Tails’ Poster Is as Action-Packed as Any Blockbuster

It’s hard to know what to make of the upcoming war drama Red Tails.

Director Anthony Hemingway helmed the zombie-Halloween episode of Community and a bunch of CSIs. The writing team is made up of Aaron McGruder, creator of The Boondocks, and John Ridley, who penned Undercover Brother and was a writer for The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. The poster below does suggest some serious business, though. The story recounts the Tuskegee Airmen: a group of African American military aviators who flew during WWII. And if that doesn’t sell you, maybe these two words will: Bryan. Cranston.
