Reese Witherspoon has signed up for Disney’s Wish List, a kiddie flick/rom-com hybrid.
The Oscar-winning actress will play the grown-up version of a girl who makes 10 fruitless wishes at a wishing well. Unbeknownst to the little girl, however, her coin was stuck in the well for many years, never making it to the bottom. Thus … no wishes. That is, until she’s a grown, career-focused woman (enter Witherspoon), at which point they all come true!
No word yet on who will direct Witherspoon, who is coming off the somewhat successful Water for Elephants and will next be seen in McG’s February 2012 action comedy This Means War, opposite Chris Pine and Tom Hardy.
