The Rent: Live broadcast, which aired on TV in America on Sunday night (27Jan19), wasn’t completely live – some of actor Brennin Hunt’s scenes were taped because he was injured during the dress rehearsal on Saturday.
Brennin reportedly rolled his ankle and was hospitalised.
“Last night during a live performance of Fox’s production of Rent, one of the actors, Brennin Hunt, was injured,” a statement from TV bosses on Sunday reads. “But in the spirit of Rent, everyone – producers and cast, original and current – is dedicated to ensuring that tonight’s broadcast must, and will, go on.”
The TV event also featured Tinashe, Vanessa Hudgens, and Keala Settle.
