Resist: To be with the Living | 2002
The Living Theater was founded in 1947 in New York by Julian Beck and Judith Malina. They shared the goal of bringing theatre into life and life into theatre. Now in her mid-70s Judith Malina remains a vibrant and engaged artist. She rejects her status as a legend in favour of maintaining relevance to the times she lives in and finds a new urgency for revolutionary theatre, anarchism and pacifism with the rise of anti-globalization protests. The film "is a poetico-political tribute to all people who believe that another world is possible."
