It’s been a long time since we’ve seen Chris Tucker in a movie and an even longer time since we’ve seen him in a watchable movie — but that all may well change soon.
We’ve heard these ‘Chris Tucker Eying a Role in [insert action comedy]’ rumors before, but, well, Chris Tucker is eying a role in an action comedy. And another movie, too!
After almost five years since his last movie (Rush Hour 3), Tucker is reportedly considering joining the cast of Neighborhood Watch, the high-profile action comedy co-written by Seth Rogen and set to star Ben Stiller, Jonah Hill and Vince Vaughn.
More surprisingly, the Friday star is in negotiations for David O. Russell‘s dramedy The Silver Linings Playbook, adapted from the novel of the same name. Tucker would play Bradley Cooper‘s mental-hospital-patient friend in Playbook, which also has Jennifer Lawrence attached.
