A movie adaptation of comic superhero Flash starring Ryan Reynolds is back on, the actor has revealed.
The project has been in the pipelines for two years – but looked dead when Reynolds said earlier this year the film “isn’t something that I can imagine happening”.
But Reynolds has made a u-turn and now insists talks are back underway. He tells MTV, “No, the Flash isn’t dead at all. There’s talk of it being a (Justice League of America) movie.
“And then there’s other talk of doing a Flash movie with Shawn Levy. I don’t really know how much I’m allowed to talk about that stuff. But it’s no secret that they have a JLA script and it’s a project that’s in development.
“I’d love to do it, it’s just making it feasible. It’s a lot of money and it’s a very difficult character to represent. You can’t just have (the Flash) be a blur running by. These days people need to see more than that.”
