Ryan Reynolds Doing Double Comic Book Hero Duty

Ryan Reynolds appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday and discussed some of his upcoming movie roles including two, The Green Lantern and Deadpool, based on comic book characters.

Though Reynolds said that Warner Bros. wants him to stay mum on any details regarding Green Lantern, he did say “I’m 4-5 months away from beginning shooting.”

The actor went on to joke that any leaks could have some severe punishement saying “It’s crazy, it’s the only job I’ve ever had that I’m not allowed to really talk about. I think there’s like a representative from Warner Brothers who I’m sure is following me around ready to blow-dart me if I say a single word,” said Reynolds, “I probably have a chip in me somewhere, like if I start talking about it, I’ll just pass away.”

Reynolds also briefly discussed his role as Wade Wilson in a Deadpool spin-off from his role in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

This would be Reynolds third comic book character, having played Hannibal King in Blade Trinity
