Salamandra | 2008
Six-year-old Inti has been living with his grandmother when his mother Alba returns to drag him away on a crazy trip to a legendary valley in Patagonia. In the heart of a small town, renegades from the four corners of the world live at the late Dr. Schulz's place, among his old instruments, his insect collections and a multitude of animals. Neglected children have fun in and around the villa "miseria" slums, playing with fire, destroying a school under construction or attacking houses of new residents at night. Between these two impossible worlds, Alba tries to live a normal life with Inti, armed only with her hopes and illusions.
