Plans to screen Anna Nicole Smith‘s final film this weekend have been scrapped following the actress’ death on Thursday.
The movie, Illegal Aliens, which is scheduled for release in April, was to be shown to journalists, but director David Giancarlo has pulled the screenings as a mark of respect for his late star and producer.
The film, which also stars former wrestler Joanie Laurer, was forced to shut down production last September when Anna Nicole‘s son Daniel, who is also credited as a producer on the movie, died from an overdose in the Bahamas.
Further screenings scheduled for next week have also been cancelled.
