How far can a stand-up comedian go?
That’s what Kevin Hart wants to find out in his standup/movie ‘Kevin Hart: What Now?’. In Kevin’s last comedy special, Kevin Hart : Let Me Explain, sales grossed $32 Million and the film is the third highest selling solo comedy stand-up of all time (with Richard Pryor: Live on the Sunset Strip being second at $36 Million and Eddie Murphy Raw at the top with $50 Million). On August 30, 2015, Kevin Hart filmed his stand-up for 50,000 of his fans at the completely sold out Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field. This was the first time a comedian has ever even performed at a football stadium, much less a sold out one.
So, what now? In the above interview, Kevin Hart tells us what is up next for him, what it’s like to exceed the expectations of fans, pushing his dream to the next level, and what “Kevin Hart” means to him.
Kevin Hart: What Now? releases into theaters tomorrow, October 14, 2016.
