We all know either from history class that in 1963, President John F. Kennedy was shot in his motorcade.
We’ve seen pictures, even may have seen a conspiracy video or two, but the fact is the President was dead and the Nation had to handle it. More so, JFK’s wife Jacqueline (Portman) had to deal with her husband being murdered and dying literally on top of her while she was covered in his blood. Any person could and would be traumatized by this, but in the hours and days afterward Jackie Kennedy always seemed to be picture-perfect despite the tragedy, but this film takes you into the First Ladies life behind the scenes.
The film is being called Natalie Portman‘s best work since Black Swan (the film she won the Best Actress Academy Award back in 2011) but also features performances by Peter Sarsgaard as Bobby Kennedy, John Hurt as a Priest, and Billy Crudup as journalist Theodore H White.
Watch Jackie in theaters on December 2, 2016.
