Tomorrow is October and to me, that means one thing. Its time to get spooky.
All of October the networks unleash their Halloween specials and Netflix is no different. This year they are going with Adam Sandler‘s latest film, ‘Hubie Dubie’.
Sandler is great at playing the “simple” underdog. Billy Madison, Bobbie Boucher in ‘The Waterboy’, and even in a way, Howard from his serious role in ‘Uncut Gems’ Adam has apparently loved all of his roles. In this film, Sandler plays Hubie, a guy who lives in Salem and it’s his duty to make sure the town is safe for Halloween. This year is a little different, as an escaped criminal has Hughie on alert. People start to go missing, and it’s up to our character to save Halloween.
Sandler is going to team up with King James (Lebron)
This film has some of the Sandler tribe, including Steve Buscemi, Kevin James, and Rob Schneider, but also includes Julie Bowen, Ray Liotta, Noah Schnapp, Maya Rudolph, and more.
‘Hubie Halloween’ releases on October 7, 2020, at 3 AM on Netflix.
