Jack Reacher is back in a big way, even if he doesn’t want to be.
If you missed out on the first film in the series, Jack Reacher is based off the series of 12 books by author Lee Child. Reacher (Cruise) is an ex-soldier who roams the USA as a mercenary who takes odd jobs, and he doesn’t let things like “rules” or “the law” hold him back. Four years after the first film, Jack returns to the headquarters of his old military unit. Jack had often helped his replacement, Susan Turner (Smulders) in situations that she couldn’t handle because of legality reason. Reacher finds out that Susan was accused of espionage, and now he must help her clear her name.
Reacher doesn’t have to listen to the rules, and Tom kind of likes that. In the above interview, Tom Cruise talks about how Reacher gets the job done, Cobie Smulders tells us what fans can look forward to while watching the film, Author Lee Child discusses why he’s ok with changing major things about his novel series for film and then Cruise says what fans love about the series.
Jack Reacher: Never Go Back releases on Friday, October 21, 2016.
