Seltzer Works | 2009
The last seltzer bottler in Brooklyn fends off the mass-market seltzer take-over and honors this simple drink's place in history. In the early 1900's, thousands of seltzer deliverymen schlepped heavy glass bottles full of bubbly water to millions of thirsty customers. Today, most of the old customers have passed on, but there are still bubbles being made by third-generation seltzer filler Kenny Gomberg. He refuses to compromise on taste while facing the inevitable decline of a dying commercial tradition.
