Last year during the production of ‘Stars Wars: The Force Awakens’ Director J.J. Abrams announced Force For Change, a charity where users could find creative solutions to some of the worlds biggest problems. J.J. and supporters managed to raise over $10 million dollars, so it’s no surprise they are coming back in a big way.
In this video President of Lucas Films Kathleen Kennedy talks about last years charity and Mark Hamill is happy that he actually has lines this time, as well as to announce that they are bringing back the charity again. This time, users can choose which charity to support; Make-A-Wish, UNICEF USA, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, or American Red Cross. Force For Change will match donations up to $1,000,000, and donators can win prizes, including a trip to Ireland and the island we first see Luke Skywalker, Skelllig Michael. Watch the video here:
