Stars Discuss Taking ‘Smurfs: The Lost Village’ To It’s Roots

 

Smurfs have been around since 1958 and they are little blue creatures that live in the forest and hide from the evil Gargamel. In their latest adventure, ‘Smurfs: The Lost Village’, Smurfette (Lovato) is the only girl Smurf, and she was actually created by Gargamel. One day she sees another Smurf-like creature, so her, Brainy (Pudi), Hefty (Manganiello), and Clumsy (McBrayer) go out to venture to try to find the lost city, all while having one crazy adventure.

The Smurfs have been around for a long time and people from all different generations connect with the little blue creatures. In the above interview, Demi Lovato explains what’s going on in this film a little bit more, Jack McBrayer talks about the different personalities of the Smurfs, Joe Manganiello discusses returning the artwork to it’s roots, Danny Pudi tells us why the Smurfs are special, and Rainn Wilson explains why Gargamel is his favorite character.
