Steel Guitar Hall of Famer Kayton Roberts dies

Steel guitar legend has died, aged 83.
Roberts, who played with the likes of Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, Randy Travis and Alison Krauss, was a longtime member of Canadian country legend Hank Snow’s Rainbow Ranch Boys until Snow’s death in 1968.
He was inducted into the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame in 2012.
He died on 13 July (17), according to Taste of Country.
Among the hits he played on: Krauss’ I Know Who Holds Tomorrow and Aaron Tippin’s You’ve Got to Stand for Something.
