Welsh rockers the Stereophonics cancelled a Tuesday night (23Jul13) concert in Melbourne, Australia after frontman Kelly Jones was diagnosed with a respiratory infection. The band was due to play at The Palace venue, but pulled out of the performance when Jones fell ill.
In a statement, the singer writes, “I regret, that due to a respiratory infection I will not be able to perform tonight in Melbourne. This is only the second show we have cancelled in 17 years and no one is more disappointed than I am not to be able to rock n’ roll tonight.”
Fans have been offered refunds.
