Steve Jobs and Bill Gates musical heading to Broadway

A musical comedy about technology giants Steve Jobs and Bill Gates is heading to Broadway.
Nerds tells the story about the rivalry and competition between Apple boss Jobs and Microsoft co-founder Gates. The production had its world premiere in Pennsylvania by the Philadelphia Theatre Company in 2007, and from 31 March (15) it will be staged at the Longacre Theatre on the Great White Way.
With a book and lyrics by three-time Emmy nominees Jordan Allen-Dutton and Erik Weiner, Nerds is said to showcase “the most progressive technology seen on Broadway,” including onstage holograms, projection mapping, and in-show app integration for selecting the production’s ending.
“The show will be slightly different each time,” producer Carl Levin tells The New York Times. “If people don’t want to participate, it’s still a traditional musical… We’ve been exploring innovative ways to enhance the ‘user experience’ inside the theater, for a uniquely entertaining event – compatible for Broadway audiences of all generations.”
