Take A Look Back At ‘The 87th Academy Award’ Winners
The ’88th annual Academy Awards’ are this Sunday and to get in the spirit we have clips of the awards speeches.
Patricia Arquette won the Best Supporting Actress for her role in Boyhood, and she took the time to not only thank the cast and crew, but also call out Hollywood for equal wages for women:
J.K. Simmons won a well-deserved Best Supporting Actor for his role in Whiplash, and he took the time to tell everyone to make sure they call their moms to tell them you love them:
Julianne Moore won the Best Actress Award for her role in Still Alice who thanked the other nominees as well as the people involved with the film:
The race for Best Actor came between Michael Keaton for ‘Birdman’ and Eddie Redmayne for his role as Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything.
Redmayne is up for an Oscar in the 88th Academy Awards for his role as Lili in The Danish Girl, but he’s up against crowd favorite Leonardo DiCaprio in The Revenant. Another person that is nominated again is Alejandro González Iñárritu who won Best Director for ‘Birdman’:
Birdman was also the best picture of the ’87th Academy Awards’.
Can Alejandro and Redmayne do a repeat victory? More importantly, WILL LEO FINALLY WIN?
