At the height of the 1960s in Swinging London, Storm Thorgerson graduated from the Royal College of Art and co-founded the design company Hypgnosis with Aubrey "Po" Powell. Thorgerson's friendship with Roger Waters, Syd Barrett and David Gilmour resulted to the first Hipgnosis album cover, for Pink Floyd's "A Saucerful of Secrets" in 1968. Hundreds of collaborations with musicians followed and Thorgerson and the company were pursued for their original graphics that introduced the music and ideas within the albums.
