Talk show host Stanley Siegel dies at 79

Talk show host Stanley Siegel has died at the age of 79.
The TV host passed away of pneumonia on 2 January (16) in Los Angeles, according to the New York Times.
Siegel was best known for hosting The Stanley Siegel Show, on which he interviewed several celebrities, politicians and sports stars including Marlo Thomas, Norman Mailer and Gloria Steinem.
He also appeared on TV show America Talks Back and travel series Stanley on the Go and worked as a freelance radio reporter in Vietnam. He also worked for The Los Angeles Times and hosted two programmes in Tacoma, Washington and Nashville, Tennessee before moving on to his New York-based talk show.
